A graceful Charles Horner necklace, enameled in the greens and blues so popular in the period. Undulating lines embrace the almost iridescent peacock colored enamel. The Arts and Crafts movement started in England in the late 1880's but really flourished in the very early 20th century. The pendant is hallmarked for Charles Horner, Sterling Silver, Chester England and has a date mark for 1909-10. Charles Horner started his jewelry business in the 1860's.
Details...The all original pendant is in excellent condition and comes on an 18" sterling chain, it also looks lovely on a ribbon. The pendant drop measures 2.23" long and 1.10" at its widest point.
