This fabulous Baltic amber ring is unsigned, but it certainly resembles Scandinavian Modernist design. A loaf of warm, glowing amber sits in a sleek sterling silver frame. The amber is wonderfully included, it looks like there is a whole other world in there. The frame sits atop a heavy, wide band; the band only connects at one shoulder, the other shoulder is open. This is a sophisticated statement ring, spare yet monumental in its size and shape. Circa 1970.

Amber is petrified tree resin, its inclusions are the result of pollen, insects and vegetable matter being trapped within the resin and petrified.

Details.....Currently an approximate size 8.25. The top of the ring measures 22.3mm by 19mm with a 15mm profile. The band measures 7mm wide. In Very Good Vintage condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels, we consider it part of the charm.
