The fabric in this cloth and napkin set appears to be a blend - rayon and cotton would be my guess.  It has been used very carefully.  There is minimal to no fade and no weak spots or holes.  The design is of graceful arrays of orchids and lush foliage in blue, pink, green and yellow/gold on a field of light grey with a decorative blue ribbon defining the border.
